It is a brand new ORIGINAL RF (radio) remote control, so it needs to be paired with the device (all radio remotes need pairing). The pairing method is very simple.

EASY START UP: 1. Press and hold the RESET button on the unit for approximately 5 seconds until the green LED starts flashing. 2.
