The advantage over the classic IR signal transmission is that you don't have to point the remote control anywhere, you can have it under the duvet, for example :-)
Installation of a spare RF transmitter is very simple, it can be handled by anyone who can replace the battery in the remote control.
The RF transmitter is integrated in the battery, which you insert into the remote control instead of one of the common batteries.

RF transmitter installation procedure for AAA battery (90% of remote controls are powered by this type of battery):

insert the UFON 2/3 rechargeable battery into the RF transmitter
thus insert the RF transmitter into the remote control instead of one AAA battery
insert a second (standard) AAA battery into the remote control

To install an RF transmitter for an AA battery:

1. insert the UFON 2/3 rechargeable battery into the RF transmitter
2. thus insert the RF transmitter with the ⅔ battery into the reducer
3. insert into the remote control
4. now insert a second (standard) AA battery into the remote control

And now you can use the remote control over walls, at longer distances, from a sharp angle, etc.
ATTENTION! Works only with UFON - remote control range extender built into the battery.
