Setup is quick:

3. Wait for the cursor to appear on the screen, then simply control the device

Note: If the cursor does not appear on the screen, pair the remote control as follows: Press and hold the "OK" and "HOME" buttons simultaneously. The LED will blink. Pairing is complete once the LED stops blinking.

This is exactly the same remote control as the original. The only difference is that it does not have the GENERAL logo (that's the only reason it's cheaper). Otherwise, it is the same remote, high quality, reliability and transmitting distance exactly the same as the original remote control.
