Modern replacement for older MR remotes – transforms older LG TVs into “AI models”
During tests in our service (Kateřina & Vlado), we tried the remote control MR25GA on older LG TV models that originally used remotes MR650A / MR18BA / MR19 / MR20 / MR24.
The result surprised us: The TV started responding in a completely different way, as if it received a new “AI brain”.
After pairing with the MR25GA remote, new features appear in the menu of the older TV that the television didn’t have at all originally:
- The TV will start talking to you – clear voice guides in the menu
- advanced voice search – much more accurate speech recognition
- smart tips and navigation in the menu
- faster and more responsive cursor (gyroscope)
- new AI features like text reading, voice description, assisted setup, and advanced app control
