Technics Remote
Wednesday 23 May, 2018

Bought a replacement for my Technics EUR7702020 remote control. I received it on April 24 and was just getting used to it. Now it has died on me, it no longer operates the device. Not sure what it needs, would love to reprogram it but can't find any instructions. And I have ordered some more for some other equipment too. This is turning into a bad and expensive idea ........................................................................................................................................................................................... VAT ELECTRONIC REPLY: Dear customer, we dont hear such a complain often, but we will surely solve the problem. Solutions: 1)frist of all replace the batteries please. Use only NEW, alkaline, NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES (THIS IS IMPORTANT)!!!! If it helps, inform us immediately please to not waste our time to find solution. 2)Restart the device. Plug it off the power source for 20 seconds. 2) We will send you an email with few diagnostic questions to find out if the control LED diode does blink or not, info how to detect if the RC transmittes the IR signal or not etc. The remote surely has not lost its setting. The data=IR codes surely dont need to be reprogrammed. There is a flast memory (Eeprom) in this remote control and the data can not be deleted by a misstake or by a chance. The RC keeps settings also if batteries removed for a long time. But the data can be reprogrammed by a SW. We can send you the SW and you can try to reprogramm but we know it will not help to wake up the RC to life. 3)If nothing helps then we will send you a new remote control. Return not requiring. We have a very low failure rate of this General Premium remotes (about 5-10 pcs of 10.000 pcs) so it wiill not ruin us financially :-)..................................................... With best regards, your Remote Control World
