The universal two-channel radio receiver Somfy Standard Receiver io enables control of entrance gates and garage doors using compatible remote controls with io-homecontrol® technology. By connecting it to the pulse inputs of the control unit, existing drives without an integrated io receiver can also be expanded, including compatible drives from other manufacturers.

Two independent potential-free relay outputs allow separate control of two devices, for example an entrance gate and a garage door. Up to 16 remote controls can be assigned to each channel. The receiver also supports control via the TaHoma system, but without feedback on the actual position of the door or gate. The robust IP55 protection rating allows installation in suitable outdoor environments. The device is powered by 12–24 V AC/DC and offers a range of up to 200 m in open space.
