Procedure for copying the code from the original remote control:

1. Press and hold the button X on General VATRONIC and then press the button ✓ 4 times.
2. Release both buttons. The red indicator LED on the General VATRONIC remote will briefly flash every two seconds.
3. Place the original remote control that you want to duplicate in front of or next to the General VATRONIC remote.
4. On the original remote control, press and hold the button that you want to duplicate. Keep it pressed until the blue indicator LED on the General VATRONIC remote starts flashing rapidly.
5. At this moment, press the button on the General VATRONIC remote where you want to save the code. The blue LED on the remote will briefly light up and turn off - this confirms the code has been saved.
6. The copy has been successfully created. The General VATRONIC remote needs to be registered with the drive unit (see the manual for the drive/receiver).

How to REGISTER the new remote control into the original main unit:

1. On the LIFTMASTER unit, find the purple button labeled as PROG.
2. Press and briefly hold this purple button - the indicator LED next to the purple button will light up continuously.
3. Within 30 seconds, press the button on the new remote control with the learned LIFTMASTER signal that you want to control the drive unit and hold it - keep the button on the remote pressed for +5 seconds.
4. As soon as the indicator LED next to the purple button starts to flash, the remote control is paired with the unit - the drive's lighting may also flash (if lighting is not installed, an acoustic response of 2 clicks can be heard).

*At the moment the unit reports the registration of the remote control, you can release the button you are registering.
