Procedure for copying the code from the original remote control:

How to REGISTER the new remote control into the original main unit:

1. Open the drive cover to access the control electronics/display.
2. Switch your remote control to transmit a signal for registration/activation using the ▲ and ✓ buttons. Hold the buttons until the control starts flashing. This takes about 5 seconds. 
3. Press the PROG button on the unit panel for 2 seconds and release it—the display will show the message F0.
4. Now press any button on the flashing General VATRONIC v2 remote control and hold it for 3–5 seconds—the display will show the message Add and switch to the basic message C1.
5. To register another remote control or button, repeat steps 2 → 4.
6. Test the newly registered remote control.
