The remote control supplied is already pre-programmed on buttons ▲ and ▼. You only need to register the remote control to your original receiving unit memory.
Procedure for copying the code from the original remote control:
- Press and hold the button X on General VATRONIC and then press the button ✓ 4 times.
- Release both buttons. The red indicator LED on the General VATRONIC remote will briefly flash every two seconds.
- Place the original remote control that you want to duplicate in front of or next to the General VATRONIC remote.
- On the original remote control, press and hold the button that you want to duplicate. Keep it pressed until the blue indicator LED on the General VATRONIC remote starts flashing rapidly.
- At this moment, press the button on the General VATRONIC remote where you want to save the code. The blue LED on the remote will briefly light up and turn off - this confirms the code has been saved.
- The copy has been successfully created. The General VATRONIC remote needs to be registered with the drive unit (see the manual for the drive/receiver).
How to REGISTER the new remote control into the original main unit:
Procedure for registering the remote control to the control unit without a DISPLAY:
- Remove the unit cover.
- On the circuit board, find the programming button (PGM). Press this button for >2 seconds - the LED will light up and remain lit.
- Within 10 seconds, briefly press the button for about >3 seconds on the registered remote control.
- The unit will blink as a confirmation of receiving the remote control into memory.
- Wait about 30 seconds and test the remote control.
Procedure for registering the DO to the control unit with a DISPLAY:
Next to the display, there are 3 buttons/microswitches + / OK / -
- Press the OK button briefly (max. 2 seconds), the display will light up and various messages will appear
- Using the + or - buttons, select the command on the display RADIO / rAdi / rAd (one of these three versions will be displayed)
- Confirm the program by briefly pressing the OK button
- The display will show the message PP, confirm the function again by briefly pressing OK
- Now the display will guide you - PUSH = press and hold the button that you need to register into the memory of the control unit
- Once the display shows OK, the remote control has been successfully registered *
- Now simultaneously press the + and - buttons to exit programming
- Repeat the procedure of step 7 until the display turns off
